Module Two (6 hours)

Module two covers all of the topics in module one as well as topics covering the responses to physical provocation.

Additional content includes:

  • Threat assessment
  • Tactical considerations:
    • Stance
    • Posture
    • Your 'safety' zone
    • Action -v- Reaction
  • Simple defensive skills to enable you to break away
    and create distance
  • Post-incident issues

Module Three (8 hours)

Module three covers all the topics in the previous modules, as well as physical intervention skills. Interventions will be in line with existing risk assessments and included as part of the policies and staff guidelines.
